Fungal Nails.
Not easy to treat; conventional medicine uses potentionaly damaging internal drugs, herbals and aromatherapy or over the counter homeopathics don't usually have much long-term impact. The drugs don't get rid of fungal nails for long, it usually returns in time. Why do the nails succumb to fungal infections at all? There are many theories about this; from damage to the nail bed, or immune insuffiency to acidic constitution friendly to fungal infestation. Most likely it will be a combination of all these and more. But, what can be done about it in the first instance. After many years of trialing many many treatments I have finally found something you can do about it yourself. It is easy, cheap and completely safe.

This is what you do.
You will need:
2-3 small garlic bulbs, a chopper or liquidiser, water, a kettle, a large bowl or basin (big enough for your feet or hands, non plastic is better) a soft towel and about 20-30 minutes.

1. Get 2-3 small garlic bulbs. Peel them and place into a chopper/liquidiser with a little cold water.
2. Chop or liquidise for a minute or so, pulsing or stop and start a few times.
3. Pour out the garlic/water mix into the bowl and add hot water from the kettle. Adjust temperature by adding cold water to touch and volume to just cover affected area.
4. Put your feet or fingers into the bowl and keep there adding more hot water if/when needed. Keep in for 10 or more minutes.
5. Remove foot/hand. one at a time and rub gently and throughly to temove all loosened skin. Dry very throughly. Cut nails as short as is comfortable.
6. Repeat every 3 days for the first few weeks then once a week for a couple of months and then occasionally just to keep the nails healthy.
