About Me...

.I have been in the professional practice for more than 30 years and am registered with the Society of Homeopaths. I follow their guidelines for safe professional practice and adhere to their strict code of ethics.
I also have a keen interest in other health related disciplines and study herbal medicine, naturopathy, counselling, body work and massage, psychology, anthroposophical medicine and flower remedies as well as nutrition and spiritual healing and personal development.
I graduated in classical homeopathy from the Northern College of Homeopathic Medicine in Newcastle in 1986 after 6 years of study and gained registration with the Society of Homemopaths in 1988.
I extended my academic qualifications by gaining a post graduate degree in medical sociology and anthropology with qualitative research from University of Edinburgh 2011.

I have given many talks and workshops in the field of natural health care and am an experienced teacher, writer, researcher, college lecturer and clinic manager.
Most of my work with patients has been in Scotland in Edinburgh and Glasgow. For 15 years I ran specialised mother and baby clinics, where I dealt with infertility and pregnancy problems, childbirth, eczema, asthma, not- thriving, vaccination anxieties, feeding and sleeping problems. Women consult me with conception, menstrual or menopausal issues. People suffering depression, anxiety, sleeping disorders, fibromyalgia and many other conditions have been patients of mine. Elderly people with their particular health issues consult me also. Teenagers often face difficulties successfully addressed from a homeopathy perspective. I also worked for many years with a diverse group of other therapists in multidisciplinary clinics.
I worked as a homeopath Africa for a charity for a time.
